“Somebody will want your handwriting more than your precision.”
My grandmother's bread recipe is written on the back of an electricity bill from 1974. I have made it perhaps four hundred times. It is not a good recipe — the quantities are wrong and it says "bake until it looks right". But her hands are in it. When my daughter made it for the first time last spring, three generations of hands were doing the same thing at the same counter.
Write the recipe down badly rather than not at all. Somebody will want your handwriting more than your precision.
